ABB DS201 B13 A30 – RCBO for combined residual current and line protection
The ABB DS201 B13 A30 provides combined residual current and line protection for AC circuits. It trips at a fault current of 30 mA and in case of overload from 13 A. Furthermore, as a Type A device, it detects both AC and pulsating DC fault currents.

Protective function and use
As a Type A circuit breaker, the DS201 B13 A30 detects both sinusoidal AC fault currents and pulsating DC fault currents. This makes it suitable for circuits with modern electronic devices such as LED dimmers or switched-mode power supplies. Its Type B tripping characteristic triggers at 3 to 5 times the rated current. Therefore, this circuit breaker is particularly suitable for lighting, sockets, and typical household appliances.

Assembly and wiring
The DS201 B13 A30 easily snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail. You then connect the conductors using the screw terminals. Power can be fed in from both the top and bottom. Additionally, you can connect the RCBO (residual current circuit breaker with overload protection) to the ABB PS busbar system. Furthermore, the test button simplifies regular functional testing of the RCD section.
