Protective function and use
As a type A/G with short-time delay, the DS201 M C13 G30 detects alternating fault currents and pulsating direct fault currents. The delay prevents unwanted tripping during short surge currents. Therefore, it is particularly widespread in Austria, conforming to the ÖVE standard. The C-type tripping characteristic triggers at 5 to 10 times the rated current. This makes it suitable for loads with higher inrush currents.

Assembly and wiring
The DS201 M C13 G30 easily snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail. You then connect the conductors using the screw terminals. Power can be fed in from both the top and bottom. Additionally, you can connect the RCBO (residual current circuit breaker with overload protection) to the ABB PS busbar system. Furthermore, the test button simplifies regular functional testing of the RCD section.
