Berker (Hager) W.1 Surface-Mounted SCHUKO Double Socket Horizontal 47843515
The Berker W.1 double socket 47843515 provides two SCHUKO sockets in a compact surface-mounted enclosure. The horizontal arrangement is particularly suitable for installation next to door frames or in tight spaces, as the cable entries are located on the sides.
Both inserts are fully wired and equipped with push-in terminals. This saves time during installation because the connection between the sockets is already factory-wired. A Wago 2-conductor connection terminal is also included, and the base of the enclosure features two snap-in positions for additional terminals.
The IP55 protection rating is ensured by the self-closing hinged cover with two sliders. Each slider can be opened individually. This keeps the unused socket protected against water jets and dust. However, the hinged cover can also be manually locked in the open position.
A full-surface seal under the base of the enclosure ensures reliable sealing of the rear. The spacious base provides plenty of room for wiring. The insert also snaps easily into the enclosure, and the frame is secured using a bayonet quick-release fastener.
The impact-resistant thermoplastic enclosure in grey (RAL 7011) is halogen-free. The enclosure screws and hinged cover springs are made of stainless steel. This also makes the socket suitable for corrosive environments.
