Eaton PLSM-B25-MW miniature circuit breaker – 25A for demanding protection
The Eaton PLSM-B25-MW miniature circuit breaker protects circuits with a rated current of up to 25 amps. This covers the upper range of common protection ratings. It belongs to Eaton's reliable xPole series, making it suitable for protecting larger loads in residential and commercial buildings.
The tripping characteristic B is specifically designed for resistive loads. These include instantaneous water heaters, larger heating systems, and high-power lighting installations. Furthermore, characteristic B triggers magnetically at 3 to 5 times the rated current. Therefore, false tripping due to normal operating currents is reliably prevented.
Furthermore, the PLSM-B25-MW has a breaking capacity of 10 kA according to IEC/EN 60898-1. Additionally, energy limiting class 3 provides optimal short-circuit protection. Consequently, the energy passed through in the event of a fault is minimized. This ensures comprehensive protection of downstream components.
