Eaton PLSM-B20/3N-MW circuit breaker
The Eaton PLSM-B20/3N-MW miniature circuit breaker belongs to the xPole series and offers reliable protection for three-phase circuits with neutral conductor at a rated current of 20 A. It is designed for residential and commercial buildings.
This device features a tripping characteristic B. Consequently, it is optimized for resistive loads such as heaters and sockets. Characteristic B is more sensitive to overcurrents than characteristic C. Therefore, it offers more comprehensive circuit protection, which is ideal for devices without high inrush currents.
The four-pole design disconnects the neutral conductor in addition to the three phases simultaneously. This ensures complete galvanic isolation in the event of a fault. This significantly increases safety during maintenance work and in the event of a malfunction.
Installation on the DIN rail is straightforward. Solid and stranded conductors from 1 mm² to 25 mm² can be connected. Additional accessories can also be retrofitted.
The rated breaking capacity is 10 kA according to IEC/EN 60898-1. Additionally, the operating voltage is up to 400 V AC. The insulation voltage is 440 V and the impulse voltage withstand capability is 4 kV.
