Eaton PLSM-B10/3-MW circuit breaker
The Eaton PLSM-B10/3-MW miniature circuit breaker from the xPole series reliably protects your three-phase circuits with a rated current of 10 A. It is designed for use in residential and commercial buildings.
This device has a tripping characteristic B. Consequently, it is ideally suited for circuits with predominantly resistive loads. These include, for example, heating systems, socket circuits, or lighting systems with incandescent lamps. Characteristic B trips at lower overcurrents than characteristic C. Therefore, it offers more sensitive protection for cables and connected devices.
Installation is simple on a DIN rail. Furthermore, the terminal blocks allow the connection of solid and stranded conductors from 1 mm² to 25 mm². All three poles are switched simultaneously, ensuring complete disconnection of the three-phase circuit.
With a rated breaking capacity of 10 kA according to IEC/EN 60898-1, the PLSM-B10/3-MW offers a high level of short-circuit protection. Additionally, the rated operating voltage is up to 400 V AC. The rated insulation voltage is 440 V and the impulse withstand voltage is 4 kV.
Thanks to its compact design with a width of only 3 modular units, the device can be installed in the distribution board, saving space. Additional features such as auxiliary switches can also be retrofitted.
