Eaton PLSM-B13/3-MW circuit breaker
The Eaton PLSM-B13/3-MW miniature circuit breaker from the xPole series offers reliable protection for three-phase circuits with a rated current of 13 A. It is designed for residential and commercial buildings and meets current standards.
With tripping characteristic B, this device is designed for circuits with predominantly resistive loads. These include heaters, sockets, and resistive lighting. Characteristic B is more sensitive to overcurrents than characteristic C. Therefore, it offers a narrower protection range, which is particularly beneficial for protecting cables and connected devices.
Mounting on the DIN rail is straightforward. Solid and stranded conductors from 1 mm² to 25 mm² can be connected. All three poles switch off simultaneously, ensuring complete isolation of the three-phase circuit.
The rated breaking capacity is 10 kA according to IEC/EN 60898-1. Additionally, the operating voltage is up to 400 V AC and the insulation voltage is 440 V. The impulse voltage withstand capability of 4 kV and the energy limiting class 3 complete the protection concept.
With a width of 3 modular units, there is sufficient space in the distribution box for additional devices. Furthermore, various additional accessories can be retrofitted.
