Eaton PLSM-C10/1N-MW miniature circuit breaker – 10A characteristic C with 1P+N
The Eaton PLSM-C10/1N-MW miniature circuit breaker protects 10-ampere circuits with a C-curve characteristic and all-pole disconnection. Phase and neutral conductors are switched simultaneously, guaranteeing complete isolation from the mains in the event of a fault. Therefore, it offers a high safety standard for inductive applications.
The C-type tripping characteristic triggers magnetically at 5 to 10 times the rated current. This allows it to tolerate higher inrush currents than the B-type characteristic. Consequently, the switch is suitable for motors, transformers, and compressors. It also prevents false tripping with inductive loads.
Furthermore, the PLSM-C10/1N-MW offers a rated breaking capacity of 10 kA according to IEC/EN 60898-1. It also features energy limiting class 3, thus minimizing the energy transmitted during short circuits. The insulation voltage of 440 V provides additional protection against voltage breakdown.
The Eaton PLSM-C10/1N-MW miniature circuit breaker requires 1.5 DIN rail modules (26.3 mm²) for installation. This saves space compared to two separate circuit breakers. It can also accommodate conductor cross-sections from 1 to 25 mm² and is compatible with auxiliary circuit breakers and other accessories.
