Eaton PLSM-C13/1N-MW miniature circuit breaker – 13A C-curve with integrated neutral
The Eaton PLSM-C13/1N-MW miniature circuit breaker (MCB) provides 1P+N protection for 13-amp circuits with characteristic curve C. It combines the phase and neutral conductors in a single device, ensuring both conductors are disconnected simultaneously in the event of a fault. This guarantees complete isolation.
Characteristic curve C is specifically designed for inductive and capacitive loads. It trips magnetically at 5 to 10 times the rated current. Consequently, it tolerates higher inrush currents than characteristic curve B. This makes the switch suitable for motors, pumps, and transformers. Furthermore, overload and short-circuit protection remains active at all times.
Furthermore, the PLSM-C13/1N-MW has a breaking capacity of 10 kA according to IEC/EN 60898-1. Additionally, its energy limiting class 3 provides a high degree of protection, minimizing let-through energy in the event of a short circuit. You also benefit from a rated insulation voltage of 440 V.
The Eaton PLSM-C13/1N-MW miniature circuit breaker occupies 1.5 DIN rail modules (26.3 mm²). It is more compact than two separate circuit breakers. It also accepts conductor cross-sections from 1 to 25 mm². Additionally, it can be supplemented with auxiliary switches and other accessories.
