Eaton PLSM-C25/1N-MW circuit breaker
The Eaton PLSM-C25/1N-MW miniature circuit breaker from the xPole series reliably protects your single-phase circuits with neutral conductor at a rated current of 25 A. It is specifically designed for residential and commercial buildings.
Due to its C-curve tripping characteristic, this device is particularly suitable for circuits with inductive loads. These include, among others, motors, transformers, and fluorescent lamps. The C-curve tolerates higher inrush currents than the B-curve, thus effectively preventing unwanted false tripping in devices with high starting currents.
Installation is quick and easy on a DIN rail. Furthermore, the terminal blocks allow for the connection of solid and stranded conductors from 1 mm² to 25 mm². The neutral conductor is also switched simultaneously, providing added safety.
The rated breaking capacity of 10 kA according to IEC/EN 60898-1 ensures a high level of short-circuit protection. The rated insulation voltage is 440 V. Additionally, the impulse voltage withstand capability is 4 kV. Energy limiting class 3 ensures minimal let-through energy in the event of a fault.
With a width of only 1.5 modular units, the PLSM-C25/1N-MW requires little space in the distribution board. Consequently, there is ample room for other devices. Various additional features such as auxiliary switches can also be retrofitted.
