Eaton PLSM-C25-MW miniature circuit breaker – 25A for demanding loads
The Eaton PLSM-C25-MW miniature circuit breaker (MCB) offers 25 amp protection with a C-curve characteristic. This makes it ideal for circuits with inductive loads, such as high-performance motors, pumps, and industrial lighting systems. It is part of Eaton's proven xPole series.
The C-type tripping characteristic tolerates inrush currents up to 10 times the rated current. This means that brief current spikes during motor start-up are not detected as faults. Consequently, the power supply remains stable. Furthermore, protection against short circuits and overloads is guaranteed at all times.
Furthermore, the PLSM-C25-MW has a breaking capacity of 10 kA according to IEC/EN 60898-1. Additionally, energy limiting class 3 offers a high degree of protection, minimizing the energy passed through in the event of a fault. This ensures maximum safety.
The Eaton PLSM-C25-MW miniature circuit breaker is compact and space-saving. It occupies only 1 DIN rail module (17.5 mm²). It also accepts conductor cross-sections from 1 to 25 mm². Furthermore, it can be expanded with auxiliary switches and other accessories.
