Eaton PLSM-C32-MW miniature circuit breaker – 32A with characteristic curve C
The Eaton PLSM-C32-MW miniature circuit breaker protects high-power circuits with a rated current of 32 amps. It features a C-curve tripping characteristic, making it suitable for demanding applications with high inrush currents, such as larger motors, air conditioners, and high-performance compressors.
With a 32-ampere rating, this circuit breaker offers the highest current rating in the PLSM 1-pole series. Therefore, it is suitable for protecting supply lines and high-power individual loads. The C-curve tripping characteristic occurs at 5 to 10 times the rated current. Consequently, even high inrush currents are reliably tolerated.
Furthermore, the PLSM-C32-MW has a breaking capacity of 10 kA according to IEC/EN 60898-1. In addition, energy limiting class 3 ensures minimal let-through energy. The insulation voltage of 440 V also provides a high safety margin. Thus, comprehensive protection is guaranteed.
The Eaton PLSM-C32-MW miniature circuit breaker is mounted on a standard DIN rail, requiring only 1 DIN rail module (17.5 mm²) of space. It can accommodate conductor cross-sections from 1 to 25 mm² and is expandable with additional components.
