Eaton PLSM-C10/3N-MW circuit breaker
The Eaton PLSM-C10/3N-MW miniature circuit breaker from the xPole series protects three-phase circuits with a neutral conductor at a rated current of 10 A. It is designed for use in residential and commercial buildings.
This device features a C-curve tripping characteristic. Therefore, it is suitable for circuits with inductive loads, such as motors, transformers, and fluorescent lamps. The C-curve tolerates higher inrush currents than the B-curve, effectively preventing false tripping in devices with high starting currents.
The four-pole design with simultaneous neutral switching offers additional safety. In addition to the three phases, the neutral conductor is also switched off simultaneously. Consequently, the circuit is completely isolated in the event of a fault.
Mounting on the DIN rail is straightforward. Furthermore, solid and stranded conductors from 1 mm² to 25 mm² can be connected. Additional devices such as auxiliary switches can be added later.
The rated breaking capacity is 10 kA according to IEC/EN 60898-1. Additionally, the operating voltage is up to 400 V AC and the insulation voltage is 440 V. The impulse voltage withstand capability is 4 kV.
