Eaton PLSM-C16/3-MW circuit breaker
The Eaton PLSM-C16/3-MW miniature circuit breaker belongs to the xPole series and protects three-phase circuits with a rated current of 16 A. It complies with the IEC/EN 60898-1 standard and is designed for residential and commercial buildings.
With its C-curve tripping characteristic, this device is optimized for inductive loads. These include motors, transformers, and fluorescent lamps. The C-curve tolerates higher inrush currents than the B-curve. Consequently, false tripping does not occur with inductive loads.
DIN rail mounting is quick and easy. Solid and stranded conductors from 1 mm² to 25 mm² can be connected. All three poles switch simultaneously. Additional devices can also be retrofitted.
The rated breaking capacity is 10 kA. Additionally, the operating voltage is up to 400 V AC. The insulation voltage is 440 V and the impulse voltage withstand capability is 4 kV. Energy limiting class 3 and protection class IP20 complete the protection concept.
With a width of 3 modules, the circuit breaker fits into any distribution board, saving space. Furthermore, the device is RoHS compliant.
